  • IceCam2:  

Please note IceCam2 is designed to work on a computer with USB 2.0 high speed bus.  Computer with USB 1.1 speed may result in black screen for video due to low USB 1.1 speed rate.   Users are recommended to check USB bus speed in Mac System Profiler or Device Manager of Windows PC for USB bus verification.

 

  • BTKey Pairing:  

Before Pairing BTKey with computer, please activate the Pairing light by pressing Pairing button on the back of the keyboard, otherwise Pairing will not be successful with Pairing LED light remains Off.   When inputting Passkeys( 8 digits), please type such 8 digits without any space on Macally BTKey and followed by Pressing “Return” Key on the BTKey, though inputted digits will not shown on the computer screen.  

 

  • iShockX:

Current driver of iShockX does not support 64 bit of Mac OS 10.7 Lion.  Users may switch to 32 bit version (Method of switching to 32 bit, please refers to instruction below).  Please note even if the driver is successfully installed, some Mac games, flash games or PC game via web-platform may not support external game controller.  Please verify with game developer or publisher for external game controller support.

 

  • Macally mouse:

Former programming function is no longer available starting from OS X 10.6 for all the Macally mice. Please do not install Input Manager v1.2 in OS X 10.6 and above. Default driver of OS X supports Macally mouse as a standard 3-button mouse with scroll wheel.

 

  • TransCable:  

TransCable does not support Mac OS X Lion.  However user may connect Mac OS Lion machine with a 32-bit based machine via TransCable and initiate the file copying from 32-bit machine side.  

 

  • NSA2-S350NAS:

This model does not support 64 bit machine including Mac OS Lion.  Even if Mac OS Lion is switched to 32 bit kernel, it may still encounter errors during file transfer.

 

  • DualUSB10:

DUALUSB10 is a 10-Watt charger designed to charge ONE iPad alone or combination of two iPhone/iPod. Charging with two iPad simultaneously would cause overheating of the charger and damage it.

 

  • ICEKEY:

The Multi-Media Keys (Volume Adjustment and CD Eject) of  current version of IceKey does not  work with Mac OS 10.7 Lion (64 bit).  The work-around would be switching Mac OS X 10.7 Lion from 64 bit to 32 bit and install the
current driver, the multi-media keys would be able to function.

 

  • Methods to switch between 32-bit and 64-bit kernel in OS X Snow Leopard, Lion and above

Method 1: Startup key combination (for current startup only)
▪    If your Mac uses the 32-bit kernel by default, but support the 64-bit kernel, you can start up using the 64-bit kernel by holding the 6 and 4 keys during startup.
▪    If your Mac uses the 64-bit kernel by default, you can start up with the 32-bit kernel by holding the 3 and 2 keys during startup.
Your Mac will revert to the default kernel the next time you reboot it.

Method 2: On-disk setting (persistent)
To select the 64-bit kernel for the current startup disk, use the followingo select the 32-bit kernel for the current startup disk, use the following command in Terminal:
sudo systemsetup -setkernelbacally
